A Press Conference was held today, 24th February 2026, at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel - Colombo, on CEMS-Global's upcoming 15th Sri Lankan Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions scheduled to be held from 5 – 7 March 2026 at SLECC in Colombo, reaffirming its role as the country’s most comprehensive platform connecting the apparel industry with global technology, materials, and innovation partners.
Present as Special Guests on the Head Table were Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe - Chairman & CEO of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board; Mr. Felix A. Fernando – Chairman of the Joint Apparel Association Forum of Sri Lanka (JAAF); Ms. Rajitha Jayasuriya – Chairperson of Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association (SLAEA); Mr. S. S. Sarwar - Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA; and Mr. Abhishek Das - Group Director of CEMS-Global.
Over the years, the Sri Lankan edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions has grown alongside Sri Lanka’s apparel industry, evolving into a trusted and strategic platform that has consistently brought global manufacturers, innovation, and knowledge exchange to the country. Now in its 15th edition, the exhibition stands as a testament to its enduring journey and continued importance in strengthening Sri Lanka’s sourcing ecosystem, supporting industry modernization, and fostering international partnerships.
